My story here

Nicholas J. Santore grew up watching the Bulls with his grandma in the suburbs of Chicago and riding go-karts and BMX bikes in the suburbs of Arizona. His upbringing sparked his love of producing coming-of-age and family focused work; most notably the short documentary NICK SANTORE, which examines his own father-son relationship.

At the start of his career he worked as a graphic designer, art director, and creative director at several ad agencies with brands such as Harley Davidson, Frito-Lay, and Nike. He then went on to start his own production studio in Chicago where he creative directed and produced films and content all over the world for Nike, Jordan, Uber, Intel, Wrangler, Clif Bar, Kraft Heinz, Crate & Barrel, and Oars + Alps.

Upon his move to LA, he formed the motion picture collective COY COYOTE and produced MY DUDUŚ, a short documentary about a lonely mother raising a squirrel. The film premiered at the SXSW Film Festival, landed on the The New York Times and PBS, was recognized as one of the Best Short Documentaries of the year by the Hollywood Reporter, and received the Best Documentary and Audience Choice awards of the year on Short of the Week

Nick is currently developing and producing a feature film alongside writer and director Alexandra Leopold, working as an independent creative director and producer on branded and original film projects, and is in post-production on his directorial debut short documentary.
